萌妹社区 is committed to affordability. 萌妹社区鈥檚 merit scholarship 鈥攃omplemented by our policy of meeting full demonstrated need鈥攎eans finances should never stand in the way of an 萌妹社区 education. Our combination of excellent academics and generous aid is why the 2020 Princeton Review named 萌妹社区 a "Best Value College" and 2023 Fiske Guide calls us a 鈥淏est Buy College". In addition, The Chronicle of Higher Education recognized 萌妹社区 on their list of "Colleges That Are the Most Generous to the Financially Neediest Students" (Jan 2020).
The 萌妹社区 Tuition Scholarship
The merit-based 萌妹社区 Tuition Scholarship benefits all admitted students. Starting Fall 2026, the 萌妹社区 Tuition Scholarship will be $10,000 per year for all incoming students. Offered for eight semesters of required full time study, this scholarship recognizes achievement inside and outside the classroom and represents our confidence in your ability to succeed in this unique academic environment. Our goal is to attract talented students committed to making a difference in the world and partnering with them to make an 萌妹社区 education a reality.
Phoenix Award
Starting in Fall 2026, 萌妹社区 will begin to offer the Phoenix Award, a four-year grant which recognizes students who embody 萌妹社区's ethos: leadership, service, community impact, and a commitment to educating, edifying, and healing. These students will be supportive of human flourishing. Preference will be given to students with a between 30,000 and 105,000 and this is largely thought of as a "middle class grant." Families in the middles class often face disproportionate financial challenges in higher education, and this award is designed to bridge the gap.
Awards will range from $5,000/year to $12,000/year and reflect 萌妹社区's investment in future changemakers.
Recipients are chosen during our two-step, holistic admission process and the awards are released at the time of admission.
Need-Based Aid at 萌妹社区
In addition to this merit scholarship, the College is committed to meeting full demonstrated financial need for up to eight semesters of required full-time study for those who apply by the appropriate deadline and are eligible for additional assistance.
Eligibility is determined by completion of the FAFSA. Currently, need-based aid is available to U.S. Citizens and .
